Punjab Kings (PBK) are taking Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at HPCA Stadium, Dharmasala. LSG needed to score 237 runs in 20 overs to secure its sixth win of IPL 2025.
On the eighth over, Azmatullah Omarjai bowled for LSG batsman Ayush Badoni and captain Rishabh PantOn strike, the left-handed batsman came under the pitch to scaffold the ball, but the bat flew to the square-foot area with his hands. The ball was cut directly on the sweeper cover in Shashank Singh, and the fielder completed an easy catch.
The wicketkeeper batsman looked at disbelief and made some muted by seeing the sky. The PBKS bowlers were completely at the top of the Lucknow batsmen.

In the first innings, PBKS Opener Prabhasimran Singh scored 91 runs in 48 delivery, including six fours and seven maximum. PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer scored 45 runs off 25 balls. Josh Iglis (14 to 30 runs), Nehal Wadhera (16 runs 9), Shashank Singh (33 runs 15), and Marcus Stoinis (5 runs 5) did their share in bringing a total of 236 commanding.
For LSG, Akash Maharaj Singh is the most affordable bowler who took two wickets and just gave 30 runs. All other bowlers went for more than 40 runs in their four -over spell. Mayank Yadav bowled one of the most expensive mantras of IPL (4-0-60–0) in his bowling.
PBK is fourth in the points table with six wins and will have to win in front of the crowd of his home in Dharamasala. This win will help the team led by Shreyas Iyer to get closer to the playoff stage.
