The 30th match of the 2025 IPL season between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is currently going on in Lucknow, both teams performed competitive cricket and maintained a good balance between runs and wickets.
In the final of the first innings, Mathesh Pathirana took over the bowling for CSK. Captain Rishabh Pant and Abdul Samad were at the crease for LSG. The second delivery of the over, Samad was bowled, wandered down towards the leg and indicated as a wide. The pants called for a quick single using that moment.
However, Samad was a little slow to respond and ended for some time of his crease. Experienced wicketkeeper MS DhoniKnown for his sharp awareness, assembled the ball and peacefully throw an underarm throw at the end of the bowler. His accuracy resulted in a brilliant run-out, with Samad caught for some time of the crease in a top piece of fielding.

LSG concluded its innings at 166 for 7 in 20 overs allocated. Skipper Rishabh Pant was a standout artist with Bat, with a fluent 63 score in 49 balls including four borders and four sixes.
On the bowling front for CSK, Ravindra Jadeja gave an important mantra, scored just 24 runs in his three overs and took two wickets. Mathisha Pathirana also clung to two wickets, while Noor Ahmed bowled an extraordinary affordable mantra, which ended with 4–0-13-0 figures, maintaining the impressive economy rate of just 3.20.
Meanwhile, CSK will aim to follow this target as soon as possible and return to ways to score two points in the table and win.
