A sharp bouncer from Royal Challengers Bangalore's spin-bouling all-rounder, Krunal PandyaVenkatesh Iyer, the vice-captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, was taken to Venkatesh Iyer, who was surprised during the IPL 2025 opener at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, March 22, Saturday.
The first delivery of the 13th over of KKR's innings led to an unusual moment. While bowling from the left-room-around, Krunal replaced it by sending a fierce short-picker bumper in the southpah. The delivery was called a wide and a touch under the leg-side to be too high. Jitesh Sharma did very well to work immediately and saved what would happen otherwise.

Rahane, Narin KKR takes up to 174
As far as the first innings is concerned, Sunil Narin and captain Ajinkya Rahane kept a sensational stage with their power-touching after Quinton D. Coke. Rahane hit six fours and four sixes in his 31 balls, while Narin scored 26 runs with five fours and three sixes. However, both of them departed in consecutive overs and their dismissal implemented the break. KKR Turn.

Angkarish Raghuvanshi scored 30 runs in 22 delivery, while Rinku Singh contributed 12. However, none of other batsmen could add much. Andre Russell fell for just four, while Ramandip Singh remained unbeaten on six out of nine, as KKR finished his 20 overs at 174/8 after 20 overs.
