Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Name Ayush Injured captain Ruturaj Gikwad as a replacement. Young Mumbai batsmen have arrived at the Wankhede Stadium for training and will represent a five -time champion against their biggest rivals, Mumbai Indians, as the two sides play reverse stability on 20 April. In particular, CSK defeated Mumbai Indians at home in its last meeting this season.
The 17 -year -old youth Matre, who has impressed his performance in domestic cricket, expressed his excitement about playing in the IPL and representing CSK. In a video released by the franchise, he potentially expressed his feelings before his first IPL game at his home site, Wankhede Stadium. He also requested fans to show their support to the team.
“I'm feeling very good, and this is my first experience of playing in the IPL. And playing for a team like CSK, I feel very lucky, and another thing is that my first game is in Wankhed Stadium [his home ground]So it looks fantastic. Whenever I travel in Mumbai, I keep remembering things, and now I am playing on such a big stage, which is very lucky for me, “Matre said in a video released by CSK's handle on X (formerly known as Twitter).
The young batsman said, “Ayush Mhatre himself, and I request you and all Yellow Army fans, all Chennai Super Kings fans support us. We will definitely not disappoint you,” the young batsman said.

Matre's record in domestic cricket
Talking about Matre's performance in domestic cricket, although he is yet to play T20 matches, the 17-year-old is the first class and a good record in List-A cricket. He has played nine first class games and has scored an average of 504 runs in 31.50 and has two centuries in his name. He has an unprecedented record in List-A, where he has scored an average of 65.42 on an average and 458 runs at a strike rate of 135.50.
