Xavier Bartlett Took a brilliant catch to dismiss Jos Buttler in the fourth match of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. Buttler, whose form has been the talk of the town since his disappointing T20 World Cup campaign at the start of the year, looked like he is slowly getting back to the dangerous version of himself that the IPL is familiar with.
Batting on 38, Buttler stepped out against a flighted delivery from Yuzvendra Chahal, which pitched onto leg stump. Trying to take it past the long-on boundary, he failed to make proper contact, but the ball still appeared to go over the ropes, until Xavier Bartlett, stationed at long-on, leapt high into the air and completed a spectacular catch over his head with his arms outstretched.
