Abandoned match without bowls bowling Pakistan vs Bangladesh
The constant rain fell all afternoon at the stadium, without the opportunity for the covers to leave at any time. The game was disabled at 3.27pm at local time, just under an hour and a half after the scheduled start time.
Only a match is now in Group A, with India assumed to New Zealand in Dubai on March 2 in a clash that determines who ends the top of the group. Both teams are already going to the semifinals.
For the record, Bangladesh (-0.443) ends the tournament above Pakistan (-1.087) in the net execution rate.
Pakistan’s next task is a white ball tour in New Zealand later this month, which includes five T20i and three hatred. Bangladesh, meanwhile, is scheduled to accommodate Zimbabwe for three hatred and three T20is.
