Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) This is a very unique team when it comes to their batting unit ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. They are one of the few teams in the competition that rely heavily on their overseas batsmen and then turn to a strong Indian core for their bowling.
LSG have one of the most destructive top-four finishes in the entire tournament, which could turn the game in their favor. Therefore, batting will play a key role in deciding their fate in this year's IPL. LSG's batting unit has a good combination of left-handed and right-handed batsmen.
Here are the top three LSG batsmen to watch out for in the 2026 IPL:

was last year Michelle MarshHis first season representing LSG in the IPL and it proved to be his most brilliant season. The Australian batsman scored 627 runs at an average of 48.23 while striking at 163.70. He finished the 2025 season as the top scorer for the Lucknow-based franchise.
Marsh will once again share the starting position with Aiden Markram for LSG. The 34-year-old's recent form has been excellent, scoring two half-centuries in the two matches he played during the recently concluded T20 World Cup.
Marsh's form in franchise-based T20 tournaments is also promising. The right-hander scored 360 runs in 12 matches for the title-winning Perth Scorchers team during the 2025-26 Big Bash League, the most for his team. The Australian opening batsman remains a threat at the top of the order, giving fast starts to whichever team he represents.
