The Titans of Gujarat would have worn a special lavender jersey in the match against Lucknow super veterans on 22 May, which will be held on May at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This will be a part of their annual tradition to pay tribute to cancer fighters and spread awareness among the citizens of the world.
In his upcoming match, GT will face DC on May 18 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. After his match against DC, GT will face LSG at home on May 22 at 7:30 pm. This will mark its third example of wearing lavender jersey in the IPL. GT's official handle took X and confirmed that.

History of GT's lavender jersey and their matches
While Titans played their first season in 2022 and started the title on their first example with Bangadakar, their initiative to wear lavender jersey began in the next season in 2023. The trend began when Hardik Pandya was the captain of GT in 2023 and he faced SRH at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedab.
In IPL 2024, GT continued the trend by wearing lavender jerseys in the match against KKR, which eventually became the champion. In 2025, they are ready to pay tribute to people survived by wearing jerseys against LSG.
They are not the only team wearing a unique jersey in one of their matches for a particular purpose. This was RCB that started a trend in 2011 when he wore a special green jersey to express concern about the environment. RR also wears a pink jersey while DC wore a lavender jersey in one of his matches in 2015.
