10. Mumbai Indians (MI) – Rohit Sharma
This is always a difficult call to release mythological Sachin Tendulkar in any category. Master Blaster carried forward Mumbai Indians from front during his tenure. However, he won his only IPL title when Rohit Sharma took charge in 2013. The later IPL was appointed as captain between 2013, when Ricky Ponting stepped down after a form recession.
Apart from IPL 2013, Rohit led MI in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. He is a successful captain in the league. The 37 -year -old is from Mumbai, and it is one of the several reasons for his massive craze among MI fans.
Rohit was removed from the captaincy before IPL 2024, expressing his displeasure by campaigning on social media and criticizing his successor, Hardik Pandya. Baroda all -rounder had to win the hearts of fans in 2024 with his sensational performance for India in ICC events such as the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy 2025.
