Known for his lower-order batting and brilliant bowling, especially in the death overs, Umarzai will provide the much-needed balance to Shreyas Iyer's side.
He joins Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen to strengthen the Punjab Kings bowling line-up. If needed, Umarzai can also contribute with the bat. In IPL 2025, he took eight wickets for the Punjab-based franchise.
