Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered a comfortable win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Match No. 16 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Indian Premier League 2026 on 10th April. RR captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to bowl first.
RCB scored 201/8 in their 20 overs, with captain Rajat Patidar scoring 63 runs in 40 balls, which included four fours and four sixes, at a strike rate of 157.50. Jofra Archer, Ravi Bishnoi and Brijesh Sharma took two wickets each for RR.
In reply, RR achieved the target in just 18 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a stormy innings of 78 runs with the help of eight fours and seven sixes at an incredible strike rate of 300 in 26 balls. He was well supported by wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel, who remained unbeaten on 81 off 43 balls, hitting eight fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 188.37.
Josh Hazlewood and Krunal Pandya took two wickets each for RCB. With this win, RR remains on top of the table with four wins, while RCB is placed third with two wins from three matches.
