Silver Patidar dropped out of the Dalip Trophy; Avesh, Mayank undergo surgery


Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Captain and India Batter Silver The Dalip Trophy is ready to remember, as the batsman has been advised by the BCCI's medical team to rest in the excellence center. According to India's Times, a source said, “Silver is training in MP's off-season camp, but he is not batting, as he is advised by the BCCI's medical team to overcome and recover from his right hand injury. He will remember the Dalip Trophy, but should be cured for the Ranji Trophy.”


LSG Paes undergoes trio surgery

In addition to Patidar, Mayank YadavAvesh Khan, and Mohsin Khan are also on the road to recover after successful surgery in June after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The three pacers are expected to be out of action for the next six months. They all represented Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Cash-Rich League.

Mayank, who played two matches for LSG in IPL 2025, has successfully performed his surgery before being out of the tournament due to a back injury. During the domestic season of 2024/25, Avesh had trouble in his knee and was forced to miss Madhya Pradesh's last Ranji Trophy League match. He also missed out on the first few matches of IPL 2025.

The three will recall the first half of the 2025-26 domestic cricket season and are likely to return during the second phase of the Ranji Trophy next year. They will undergo a rehabilitation at BCCI's Center of Excellence (COE) facility in Bengaluru.
