Self-proclaimed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) die-hard fan Dhruv Majethia added a humorous twist to his wedding ceremony by presenting his bride Ashima Kakkar with a playful cricket contract before completing the Hindu wedding rituals. The light-hearted contract humorously listed conditions that would allow him uninterrupted attendance in all future matches ms dhoniCSK and even Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) left the guests laughing.
Majethia shared the video of the funny moment on Instagram, where he and his wife were seen laughing together as Ashima read the contract out loud at the wedding altar. The crowd's reaction along with the bride's constant smile highlighted Majethia's unwavering devotion towards Dhoni and his beloved CSK fans.
Ashima said at the wedding, “I, Dhruv Majethia, signed groom, do declare that if Ashima is allowed unhindered presence of MS Dhoni and in all future matches of CSK and RCB, I will willingly, happily and without any negotiation take seven rounds with her.”
“Contract before seven rounds. He gave me for life, gave me Thala and CSK matches for life. Fair deal, no?” It is written in the caption.
While one of Dhoni's fans added a fun twist to his wedding, Dhoni himself is preparing for the upcoming IPL 2026 season, where he is expected to play for Chennai Super Kings once again. Dhoni was recently seen dropping Virat Kohli in his car after hosting a dinner at his Ranchi residence ahead of the India vs South Africa ODI. The former India captain was also earlier seen enjoying a game of pickleball with friends in Dubai, indicating that he is keeping himself active ahead of the new season.
As for CSK, the franchise is working towards building a strong squad for IPL 2026. They completed a big trade by bringing in Sanju Samson, while also trading Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to Rajasthan Royals (RR). With a refreshed setup, CSK will aim to assemble a compact, competitive unit in pursuit of their sixth IPL title.
