After the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially unveiled the Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule for 2026, Rajasthan Royals fans are excited to see their team lift their second trophy. The champions of the inaugural edition in 2008 have since been waiting for their second title and are hoping for a turnaround in 2026.
Ahead of the upcoming season, the Jaipur and Guwahati-based franchise has named all-rounder Riyan Parag as the full-time captain. The team has also welcomed the return of star cricketers Ravindra Jadeja, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi Yashasvi Jaiswal Also find a place in its ranks. RR will play only three matches in the first phase of the prestigious event, all of which will be held at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.
Parag and Co. will start their season against Chennai Super Kings on March 30, followed by a game against five-time winners, Mumbai Indians on April 07. They will then face defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore in their third game on Saturday, April 10.
