West Indies power-hitters Shimron Hetmyer Could be one of the notable names to be released by Rajasthan Royals. Retained ahead of the 2025 season for a whopping Rs 11 crore, Hetmyer failed to justify his price tag with below-par performances. He could score only 239 runs in 13 innings at an average of 21.72.
He is known for his explosive finishing skills, and has struggled to provide much-needed stability in the middle and lower order. His inconsistency in tough moments and inability to finish games may require RR to look for a more reliable finisher in his place.
