The 19th edition of the Indian Premier League is set to begin on Saturday, March 28, with ten top-flight teams battling it out for the coveted trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already announced the schedule for the first 20 matches, setting the stage for an exciting start to the tournament.
Defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore will begin their title defense against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, which is also being considered as the tournament opener.
They will also face Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians respectively in their next three matches. As of now, the tickets for their home match against SRH have been released online.
