Indian cricketer Silver Recently he was found to be at the center of an unusual event which included his old mobile numbers. It began as a regular telecommunication issue, quickly rose into a curious story, which forced the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to search for police intervention.
According to a report by NDTV, Patidar's old mobile number was inactive for more than 90 days, inspiring the telecom provider to neutralize it and subsect it to a new user later. The number was purchased by a young man named Manish in Gariband district in Chhattisgarh, who activated it using a Reliance Jio SIM card in late June.
Shortly after the activation, Manish and his friend Khemraj noticed that the photo of Patidar still appeared as a WhatsApp profile picture, which is associated with the number. Soon, the phone started receiving calls from major data in the cricket community, including Virat Kohli And AB de Villiers, all are trying to reach the Patidar.
The situation took a more serious turn when the Patidar himself approached Manish, requesting him to return his old number. When the Patidar revealed his identity, the youth replied comedy, 'and we are MS Dhoni', refusing to believe that the collar was really a Patidar.
Patidar warned, 'Okay, I will send the police', which increased the situation rapidly. Within ten minutes, the local police arrived at Manish's residence to mediated the case.
