Rahul Dravid had a special message for Rohit Sharma, after which a stand was named at the Wankhede Stadium. The head coach of Rajasthan Royals posted a video message, uploaded on his social media by the official handle of Mumbai Indians. Dravid felt that Sharma hit so many sixes that there was no option but to name a stand.
Dravid believed that a young Rohit would have preferred to play and perform brilliantly at the Wankhede Stadium. He considered the site beautiful and one of the most reputed people in the world. The former Indian coach, who worked with Rohit, congratulated him for a feat.

While the former Indian coach believed that Rphit would like to play at the venue, he was not sure whether he had dreamed of having a stand in his name. Dravid felt it as a special achievement and claimed that it was a reward for his contribution to Mumbai and Indian cricket.
Dravid said, “I am not sure that you dreamed about having a stand on your name, but it has come on it and you have a name, it is just a reward for your contribution to both Mumbai and Indian cricket,” Dravid wished the Champions Trophy 2025 winning skipper.
MI is currently well placed in the points table with 14 points in its 12 matches. RR has been abolished from the 18th edition of the league, but a lot of positivity in the league is moving forward.
