Former India cricketer ahead of IPL 2025 Grand Finale at the prestigious Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday Yogaj Singh The Punjab kings have made a bold prediction to end their title by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who are also searching for their first gold.

Yograj believes that the biggest threat of Punjab will be the important wicket of star RCB batter Virat Kohli, which can take the game away. In particular, the 36 -year -old has another impressive season with an average of 614 runs of 55.82 so far and a strike rate of 146.53. However, the East feels that the PBKS will increase the RCB in the summit clash.

“If Punjab does not get out of Virat, they are in trouble. If he does not go out, he can follow 250 or 300. I believe that Punjab can win. The game does not go out in the first 10 overs. My senses say that Punjab will win,” Yogaj said as a quote of NDTV.

Punjab has a wonderful captain: Yogaj Singh

Kohli has been the backbone of Bengaluru's success for many years. Despite going to three IPL finals before (2009, 2011 and 2016), batting Ustad has to taste the IPL glory so far, and he would like to change it around this time.

On the other hand, Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer, with head coach Ricky Ponting, has changed the fate of the side, taking him to the final after 11 years. Iyer's leadership style and batting performances have been important for his success this season. With 39 sixes in his name, Iyer is behind Nicholas Gorn in terms of being a maximum hit this year. Yogaj appreciated him as a captain and compared him to Kohli.

“Punjab has a wonderful captain. He is a wonderful player. The game will be between Punjab captain and Virat Kohli. If RCB is Virat, Punjab has Shreyas Iyer. Punjab should win. If Virat can win RCB from any situation, he can also do Shreyas.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru booked his final berth after throwing Punjab into a unilateral qualifier 1. Punjab bounced back brilliantly, defeated Mumbai Indians in an exciting qualifier 2, courtesy Iyer's sublime knock.
