Punjab Kings Assistant Coach Sunil Joshi, recently confirmed that Yuzvendra Chahal Recall the PBKS game against Delhi's capitals due to minor injuries. On May 24, Chahal missed out for his side in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, the game against DC.
Joshi revealed that 34-year-old leg-spinner was rested due to “small swallowing”.
During the post -match press conference, Joshi said, “Chahal has a small swallow, so we are resting it. This is the idea.”
Praveen Dubey handed over his first game PBKS This season in place of Chahal. As an impact player, Dubey bowled only a few overs. He scored 20 runs, taking the wicket of Sedikullah Atal. Chahal's absence was felt, however. PBK ended the game by six wickets with three delivery.
Talking about Chahal's tournament so far, the 34 -year -old has taken 14 wickets in 11 innings, while scored at the rate of 9.56 per over. His most prominent performance was his four wickets against Chennai Super Kings on 30 April. A hat -trick was also included in the four wickets. In particular, this was his second hat -trick in IPL history.
