'Only one Pandya who was going to win'

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), headed by Rajat Patidar, won a memorable 12 runs over Mumbai Indians (MI) at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium on Monday evening. The game went into the final, and it was Krunal Pandya To seal the deal for RCB, a great return and long -lasting drought of the RCB to eliminate droughts that kept their calm.

The left-arrow all-rounder was given the responsibility of protecting 19 runs in the last six delivery, successfully ensuring his line and length correctly, and banned Mi batsmen. In this process, he took three wickets in the over as Mitchell Santner, Deepak four, and Naman Dhir, with 4/45, his best IPL figures. After the game, when asked to defeat his brother Hardik Pandya's team, the 34 -year -old mentioned that only one member of the family should have been in the winning side.

“We (Hardik and I) the bond, we knew that there was only one Pandya who was going to win, the love and affection we have for each other is very natural. He (Hardik) really batted well and I feel for him, but we (our team) won and it is most important,” he said in the post-match interview.

The way he has started silver has been very good: Krunal Pandya

Hardik's captaincy is given with controversy and inconsistency. Even star Pesar Jaspreet Bumrah, with the return of MI, failed to turn things. On the other hand, Krunal, performing RCB colors in this season, is excellent under Andy Flower's Stewardship, contributing with both balls.

He said, “Andy (Flowers) and I were there in LSG for 2 years, and Andy was good to know from a personal place and the way we are going as a team, we are in a very good head place,” he said.

Meanwhile, the visiting team summoned a total of 221/5 after being asked to bat first. Virat Kohli (67 for 42) and Devdutt Padikkal (37 out of 22) gave him a flying start in Powerplay. Rajat Patidar (64 in 32) and Jitesh Sharma (40* 19 runs) ensured that the team crossed the 200 -run mark, scoring 70 runs in the last five overs.

Mi's chase started continuously. By being 54/2 at the end of the powerplay, they were struggling through the middle over despite Hardik's quick 42 and Tilak Verma's 56. When Hardik broke Hazelwood for 22 runs in an over and chased it with two sixes from Krunal. But when MIs ready to pull a stunning win, Krunal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Josh Hazelwood displayed their bowling talent.

“When I came on the bowl, the Santner was batting and the leg side was small and at some point in the game I played in the last 10 years, the experience had to come in. As a bowler, sometimes you want to commit and it helps 100 percent and it has reduced it. It has been very low. Terrible, they have improved their game and the game is aware of the game.

In particular, RCB is now the head of the house to face Delhi Capital on 10 April, while MI will have some time to re -organize before his struggle against DC at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on 13 April.
