Mushfiqur ends as the second highest point of Bangladesh with 7795 runs at an average of 36.42, with nine hundred and 49 years of 274 games. It is one of the only five goalkeepers to play more than 250 hatred, and its seven centuries is the fourth for a goalkeeper, behind only Kumar Sangkkara, Adam Gilchrist and Ms. Dhoni.
Mushfiqur’s shape had been in the focus in recent times, but it was more scrutiny during the champions trophy. Mushfiqur was out of a golden duck against India and marked only 2 against New Zealand. His last fifty hatred was against Sri Lanka in March last year: he was injured by two hatred against Afghanistan in November and the West Antilles tour in November and December.
“I am announcing my retirement of the hate format as of today,” Mushfiqur wrote on his official Facebook page. “”Alhamdulillah For everything. Although our successes may have been limited globally, one thing is true: whenever I stepped on the field for my country, I gave more than 100% with dedication and honesty. In recent weeks they have been very difficult for me and I have realized that this is my destination.
“Lastly, I want to thank my family, friends and fans whom I have played in Cricket for the past 19 years.”
Mushfiqur also maintains the Bangladesh record for most consecutive hatred, having played 92 games between 2010 and 2016.
