The opening pair of Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh bring both consistency and aggression, having dominated opposition attacks in the last edition. Markram, in particular, has been brilliant in Indian conditions, showing his class with consistent performances, including in global tournaments like the T20 World Cup.

At number 3, Rishabh Pant It is expected that he will start the innings.
