According to reports, the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering shifting Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Heavy rainfall experiences from Kolkata to either Ahmedabad or Mumbai at this time of the final year. Recently, former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly shared his views on the possible transfer of the IPL 2025 final. He revealed that he is regularly discussing the matter with IPL officers and hopes that everything will be resolved soon.
“No, no, we are trying – talking to BCCI. Is it easy to shift to the final? It's an Eden playoffs, and I am sure everything will be solved. I am expecting a lot. The protest does not help a lot. The BCCI does not help a lot. The BCCI has a very good relationship with the Cricket Association of Bengal,” the former captain of India was quoted as India Tud.
Kohli's retirement has surprised me: Ganguly
India's prestigious pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retired from Test cricket on May 7 and 12 respectively. Ganguly congratulated both of them on their stellar career and said that he was surprised, especially by Kohli's decision.
He said, “This is his own decision. Can anyone leave the game without his wish? But it has been a great career, and he goes to Rohit Sharma. Kohli's retirement has surprised me,” he said.
Rohit retired after playing 38, 67 Tests, scored 4,301 runs at an average of 40.58. Meanwhile, 36 -year -old Virat Kohli scored 9,230 runs from 123 tests at an average of 46.85. Both cricketers will continue to represent India in the ODI format. Rohit will pursue men in Blue after guiding the team for the Champions Trophy title earlier this year.
