IPL 2026: KKR vs LSG, Match 15 Highlights

Strong partnership of Rahane-Raghuvanshi

Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi put together a steady and important partnership for the second wicket, which stabilized the Kolkata Knight Riders innings. Rahane played a stormy inning of 41 runs in 24 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes. Raghuvanshi provided effective support to him by scoring 45 runs in 33 balls including five fours and a two.


KKR's middle order faltered

LSG bowlers strengthened their grip on KKR and destroyed the middle order by taking quick wickets. The spinners applied pressure in the middle overs, breaking the rhythm of the batting lineup and limiting scoring opportunities. The momentum increased further when Avesh Khan dealt a crucial blow by uprooting the stumps of Rinku Singh.


Powell and Green signed in spectacular style

Due to the slow pitch of Eden Gardens in the middle overs, it was difficult for KKR batsmen to maintain the rhythm. LSG got off to a fast start as the openers added 41 runs for the first wicket in just 25 balls. However, the hosts made a strong comeback through Vaibhav Arora. Arora changed the momentum by dismissing Mitchell Marsh on 15 and Aiden Markram on 22.


Badoni struggled alone in the middle overs

With wickets falling regularly at the other end and the rest of the batting line-up struggling to pick up pace, Ayush Badoni came under immense pressure for LSG. Despite the challenging situation, he showed great composure and handled the innings. Badoni played important innings and scored a brilliant 54 runs in 34 balls, which included seven fours and two sixes.


Mukul Chaudhary took over the game with complete dominance

With LSG losing wickets at regular intervals, the responsibility of leading the team to victory fell on young finisher Mukul Chaudhary. He showed amazing composure under pressure and changed the course of the game by striking fearlessly. Choudhary remained unbeaten on 54 off just 27 balls, hitting two fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 200. He decisively changed the momentum by scoring 16 runs in the 19th over off Cameron Green and followed it up with 14 runs in the final over to seal a dramatic win and secure two vital points for LSG.
