Before getting to the two names that RR should go after, Srikkanth lauded the way in which Vaibhav Suryavanshi has grown in stature after his maiden century in his maiden IPL season.
“Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been exceptional since scoring his century against GT [in IPL 2025]He should really be in the 15 players for the T20 World Cup; He is playing at that level, Venkatesh Iyer or Rachin Ravindra could suit him at No, 3,” Srikkanth shared in a video on his YouTube channel,
He also said that RR may consider signing Ravi Bishnoi even though they would want them to go after Rahul Chahar. He also described Michael Bracewell as a good fit for the team as he can serve as a backup to Ravindra Jadeja.
He said, “Between Ravi Bishnoi and Rahul Chahar, I would pick Chahar. He is a brilliant leg spinner. I wouldn't pick Bishnoi, but probably RR would go for him. Michael Bracewell would also be an ideal fit for him. He would be a good secondary spinner to Jadeja and would fit in perfectly at No. 8.”
RR He has a purse of Rs 16.05 crore left. They have a maximum of nine slots to fill, including one overseas spot. The Royals brought in three players with the trade, including Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran (from Chennai Super Kings) and Donovan Ferreira (from Delhi Capitals).
