IPL 2025: Digvesh Rathi fined for unfair action during LSG vs. PBKS encounter


Digwesh Singh Rathi, bowler, Lucknow super veterans have been fined 25 percent of their match fees and have also submitted a demerit point for the IPL Code's code of conduct during their team's match against Punjab Kings at Bharat Ratna Shri Atil Bihari Vajpayee Ekna Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Digwesh Singh accepted level 1 crime under Article 2.5 and accepted the approval of the match referee. For level 1 violations of the code of conduct, the decision of the match referee is final and binding.

The incident came to light during the third over of Chase, as the Punjab Hosts were chasing a target of 172 runs in the match 14 of IPL 2025 by Lucko. On the fifth ball of the over, Rathi found one person in the air in the air, as Shardul Thakur completed a simple catch.
