Rowman Powell was stripped of INR 1.50 crore for its base price by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). It was already a big price for any player and although he had no other bidder to be the bidder other than the defending champion, it is still a lot of money given by the franchise. However, Powell has not yet found a game in IPL 2025 which may be due to the team's trust on players like Andre Russell and Rinku Singh.
The 31 -year -old all -rounder was part of the Rajasthan Royals team in the last season, which went to make the playoffs of the tournament. Powell played 10 games in that season and scored 103 runs at an average of 17.16 and his strike rate was 151.47.
