Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc He is expected to miss three more games before joining the Delhi Capitals (DC) camp in the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL). Starc has not played professional cricket since representing the Sydney Sixers in five Big Bash League matches in late January. Before this, he played all five Ashes Test matches against England, where he became the Player of the Tournament after taking 31 wickets.
According to reports, Starc is now unlikely to join the DC squad until April 20, leaving him missing three more games for the 2020 finalist. The capital city team will face Gujarat Titans on April 8, followed by Chennai Super Kings on April 11 and then defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 18. If things go as planned, DC can expect their star pacer to join the squad a day before the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Starc is one of the best bowlers of current times. However, his presence hasn't wavered since DC won their opening two games of the new season. They started the campaign by defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) before claiming victory over Mumbai Indians.
