Punjab Kings (PBK) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), PBK opener in 22nd match of IPL 2025 Priyash Arya Played a sensational knock, scored a terrible century and broke the CSK bowlers throughout the ground. His explosive innings helped Punjab post a total of 219 formal posting.
After choosing the option to win and bat, PBKS left for Flying Start for the first time in bowling by Khalel Ahmed. The left -handed batsman hit the tone quickly by hitting two sixes. However, in the following overs, Mukesh Chaudhary rejected Prabhasimran Singh. Despite the tambling of wickets at the other end, the opener anchored the innings, sent every loose delivery.
The 24 -year -old eventually fell into Noor Ahmed in the 14th over, after scoring 103 off just 42 balls, including seven fours and nine sixes. His knock laid a strong foundation for the mid -order, with a late fireworks from Shashank Singh (52*) and Marco Jansen (34*), pushing the team into a large clan.

After the century, the left -handed batsman reflected that he felt internal confidence. He admitted that he was inspired to rely on his tendency with the advice of Shreyas Iyer and aimed to play him independently, capitalize on favorable conditions and target early successes.
“I am not expressive, but I am gaining a very good feeling from within. In the last game, Shreyas Iyer talked about supporting your tendency, the way he wanted to play. Powerplay and take wickets,” Arya called the host broadcaster in an innings-book.
With posting a humble target with PBks, CSK needed 220 runs to secure their second win of the season, while PBKs wanted to bounce back back after their previous losses.
