I don't feel the pressure to be a captain, taking a game at a time: Silver Patidar

As Royal Challengers Bangalore Preparations to take Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 13 April, Captain Rajat Patidar addressed the media before stability, where RCB will suit its special green jersey, an annual tradition to raise awareness to the environment, as a carbon-nevar team.

Speaking on his approach to captaincy, the Patidar said that he was trying to focus on his strength and not to take any burden due to leadership responsibility. Patidar's infection for captaincy has become smooth and impressed on initial evidence, winning three of the five matches so far.

“I see myself as the captain when I am on the field, but when I am batting, I do not feel the pressure to be a captain. I focus on my strength with the bat and avoid realizing that I have to do something different because I am leading the team. Even in domestic cricket, I try to live in the moment and perform my best for the team.

While RCB has yet to crack the codes of winning domestic games, they have defeated Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in encounters to secure six points. Two RCB disadvantages – against Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capital – have come to the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Asked to comment at the venue, Patidar said that the team's purpose is to play for the best of their ability and is not worried about where his people come out to play.

“We take it a game at a time. If everyone is confident, we take maximum advantage of it. We will focus on playing good cricket, not to focus on which place it is.
