Gujarat Titans' (GT) Spin Vizard Rashid Khan appreciated the captaincy of Shubman Gill in the ongoing IPL 2025. MashukeThose who missed their century by 10 runs in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), have been amazing with their batting attitude this season. He struggled to score runs at the beginning of the innings, but scored 90 runs off 55 balls, ending 10 borders and three sixes.
GT scored 39 runs against Kolkata -based franchise after scoring 198 runs in the first innings. Interestingly, the Gujarat-based franchise is currently at the top of the points table with six wins in eight matches, and is closest to qualifying for play-off.
Rashid praised the right -handed batsman for the peace he brings on the field and the way he manages the team, bowlers and environment. According to an Afghanistan player, Shubman has all the qualities of a great leader.

Rashid Khan also talked about his visit with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL. He has now been a part of the Gujarat-based franchise for three years and has contributed immensely with bat and ball and was one of the main reasons that he won the title in 2022.
“Ever since I joined this team, coaching staff and players welcomed me very well. I never felt that I played for another team for the first five years. When the family atmosphere was formed, and I started enjoying the game too much. My performance improved, and I got more opportunities with the bat.
