South African all -rounder Corbin Bosch Pakistan got into trouble with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) withdrew from the Super League (PSL) to represent the Mumbai Indians (MI). The 30 -year -old has recently made a sudden return from the tournament, due to which the PCB issued a legal notice on him.
Corbin Bosch which is one of the upcoming pace bowling all-rounders, was named as replacement for proteases Lisad Williams Prior to IPL 2025 at Mumbai Indians Squad. However, PCB wanted a response from Bosch, which was also ready to play for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL. The all -rounder finally gave the PCB a reason behind the withdrawal from the league in a report in Cricket Pakistan, where he said that he wanted to give priority to his future and to play for a more successful side like Mumbai Indians.
“Bosch provided his clarification to Pakistani authorities, stating that his decision was not to insult PSL. He said he had to give priority to his future, as Mumbai Indians are not only a strong IPL team, but also have franchises in many other leagues, which can benefit his career significantly,” read in the report.
BOSCH to be banned from PSL?
The report also mentions that the officials are also discussing the future of the bosch for this step. It turns out that some officials are considering banning PSL from the next few sessions, but some are still thinking against the proposal as it may also affect the participation of other players.
“Some quarters argue that the reliability of the league is paramount and the bosch should be banned from future PSL versions as a preventive for others. However, others believe that the ban can send a negative message to other players. Instead, instead, the PCB is expected to take a decision in the coming days.
