Rajasthan Royals Defeated Gujarat Titans by six runs in a thrilling match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in IPL 2026.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Royals scored 201/5 at the end of 20 overs. Royals got off to a great start, with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi making a 70-run partnership for the first wicket. After Vaibhav's dismissal, Dhruv Jurel took charge and kept the Royals' innings under control till the end by playing a stormy innings of 75 runs in just 42 balls.
Despite losing wickets around him after Jaiswal was dismissed for 55, Jurel carried the innings and ensured the Royals reached a competitive score. Kagiso Rabada was the best bowler for the Titans with two wickets.
In reply, the Titans got off to a good start with a 78-run partnership between openers Sai Sudarshan and Kumar Kushagra in the absence of Shubman Gill. After Kushagra's dismissal, Ravi Bishnoi wreaked havoc on the Titans and took four big wickets, including a double, which hampered the Titans' progress. He finished with figures of 4/41, his best performance in the IPL.
Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada came in with 50 needed off 32 balls, and the pair took it to the last over, but Tushar Deshpande defended 11 runs and took the Royals to a narrow win.
