Delhi Capitals Defeated Mumbai Indians by six wickets in the 11th match of the Indian Premier League 2026.
Put into bat, Mumbai Indians made a slow start and lost two early wickets of Mukesh Kumar, who dismissed Ryan Rickelton and Tilak Verma in the space of three balls. After a slow powerplay, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav made a partnership of 52 runs.
However, Mumbai were never able to build on their innings as Delhi bowlers put Mumbai under pressure by taking important wickets and restricting the run-flow. Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 51, and late efforts from Corbin Bosch and Mitchell Santner took MI to 162/6.
In reply, Mumbai dismissed KL Rahul and Nitish Rana early, but Pathum Nissanka attacked the Mumbai bowlers. Sameer RizviDC's star performer in the last game against LSG. They put on a 66-run partnership with Nissanka being aggressive, before Rizvi moved forward and Nissanka fell to Santner on 44.
David Miller, who was largely a spectator, walked in as Rizvi dismissed the Mumbai bowlers in a brutal display of hitting. The pair made a partnership of 78 runs, in which Miller could only score 11 runs. Rizvi was out after scoring a brilliant 90 runs in just 51 balls with the help of seven fours and as many sixes. Miller, who also partnered Tristan Stubbs, took the Capitals home with eleven balls to spare, their second win of the tournament.
