PBK defeated RCB by 4 wickets in the 34th match of IPL 2025 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in rain -affected game. The visiting side handed over its third consecutive defeat at home to the house. A collective effort from the bowling attack and timely knocked with Nehal Wadhera helped PBK to seal his second consecutive win.
PBK won the toss late and did not hesitate to bowl on a moist surface first. PBKS bowlers made most of the situations and took wickets continuously. Each batsman made a pavilion parade, without knowing the true nature of the surface, tried to score as many runs as possible. Except Tim David, all RCB batsmen had poor outing.

Star Batter scored his first IPL fifty and helped RCB post a respectable total of 95/9 in his 14 overs. For PBKS, Marco Jansen, Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed 2 wickets respectively. Chasing 96 in 14 overs, PBK lost his opener after making a good start. Even they had lost the pair of Shreyas Iyer and Josh Englandis, and were in some trouble.
Then Nehal Wadhera saved PBK from a major collapse. Southpow scored an unbeaten 33*(19) on a moist surface, with an additional bounce for spinners and an additional bounce for square turn. RCB pacers tried their best to keep the house towards the house. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazelwood claimed 2 and 3 wickets respectively. But a poor show of his spinners meant that RCB had no way.
