Delhi Capital (DC) Karun Nair Royal Challengers missed the bat against Bangalore (RCB), but Arun Jaitley had a great impact with his fielding on Sunday, 27 April at the Stadium.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted to enter the first field on Sunday. His bowlers did a wonderful job to limit the dangerous Delhi batting line to 162/8. The hosts were slightly less with their score and needed their best performance on the field. Nair, who shut down several balls before being rejected by Yash Dayal, showed his athleticism in the third over of bowling by Axar Patel.
Jacob Bethel started his Indian Premier League (IPL), hit one four and six to declare his arrival. He went to another limit from the second ball of Exer's over, but it collapsed. It was a small delivery on the leg-stump. Southpow rock it back to pull it back, but he could not generate enough power behind it. Nair ran away from Deep Square-Leg and dives further to make a well-decided decision.

Karun Nair – A safe pair of hands

Bethel looked dangerous, especially to hunt on a small ground like Arun Jaitley Stadium with only 163 runs. Nair's effort in Deep would certainly have removed DC's spirits as they seek a win that will take him to the top of the numeral table.
