Campbell, however, could not do the ball at the stump, much more for the entertainment of the pack house.
A familiar conflict
In the chase, Zimbabwe once again failed to land for a good start. When he fell in the first over, Bennett could not repeat his bowling effectiveness with the bat. Taskin converted her into a bridge shot, resulting in Shakib caught at the mid-on. Alexander Raza, promoting himself at number 3, hit four boundaries in the first two overs, but lasted only for the fourth over. With Raza at 17, Taskin removed her with a good length ball, which uprooted the stump between her.
Tadivashe Marumani, who hit Shakib for two fours in the third over, withdrew Raza in the fifth over to the dugout. Shakib trapped her LBW when Marumani attempted a slog sweep. When Madande fell in the tenth over, remembering his reverse sweep, the Rishad lbw him for 12.
Campbell leads brief resistance
Bangladesh dropped two opportunities after Zimbabwe on ropes in the tenth over. But Hridoy dropped Campbell on 12, before Zakar placed the skier of Ryan Berl on 1. The pair was combined to take 20 runs from Tanjim Hasan in the 13th over. Campbell killed one six and one four, before the clip of the burl sent the ball to the stand above the square leg.
