Bangladesh 165 for 5 (Hridoy 57, Zakar 44, Mujarabani 3-14) Beat Zimbabwe 156 for 9 (Akram 34*, Marumani 31, Saifuddin 3-40) by nine runs
Akram scored 34 off 19 balls after playing his fifth T20I, 91 for 8 Chasing 166 of visitors. Akram's 34 was also the highest by Zimbabwe's number 10 batsman.
Mujarabani, who took a career-servation figures of 3 for 14, hit two fours, when Zimbabwe needed 21 in the final. But Saifuddin smelled trouble with some accurate death-over bowling.
Bangladesh suffers to Litton's scoops
Litton Das chose the most strange sequence of shots to get out in the fourth over. He missed two lap scoops against Mujarabani, before his third gradual attempt pulled the ball to his stump. It is not clear that Litton, already showing poor form in white-ball cricket this year, will be in Bangladesh's T20 World Cup squad. This innings is unlikely to help in their case.
Captain Najmul Hussain Shanto also came out cheaply, bowling his opposite number Alexander Raza with a slight variation. Shanto's footwork will be lacking for the team. Hridoy, enhance rescue
