Ronlan Gomes, who survived the incident of unfortunate Bangalore stampede, has filed the first information Report (FIR) But Cuban Park Police Station against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA)And DNA agency for poor incident management. The 25 -year -old blamed three agencies for the death of 11 people and more than 40 others were hurt.
Prior to Gomes, another FIR was filed against the same three agencies, which led to the arrest of four officers of DNA Entertainment Private Limited, who was due to their involvement in the event. A joint operation was carried out by the Bengaluru Police and the Crime Branch in this regard. The hearing of the case has been postponed on 16 June.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka High Court has ordered the Bengaluru Police not to take any action against KSCA members. Board Chairman Raghuram Bhat, a Shankar, Secretary, and Treasurer, S. Jayaram, requested the High Court to consider avoiding any action against him.
State Political Secretary and Municipal Commissioner suspended
Justice Shri Krishna Kumar, who heard the petition from KSCA officials, gave him interim relief. Action has already been taken against police personnel including the city Police Commissioner B Dayanand, who were held responsible for the lack of security. Cement Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new city Police Commissioner.
K Govindraj, an MLC, who served as the political secretary of Karnataka Chief Minister S Siddaramaiah, was also removed from his post with immediate effect. The Bangalore stampede incident has shaken the city's administrative landscape and those responsible for handling the incident.
As RCB won its first title by defeating Punjab Kings in the final, ceremonies erupted worldwide. RCB's official handle resorted to social media to confirm the victory ceremony. However, due to rain, a cement structure collapsed outside the stadium, triggering nervousness among fans and eventually moved towards a tragic stampede.
