Ashish Nehra's strategic step helps in rejecting GT's Prasad Krishna


In a major demonstration at home, Gujarat Titans (GT) won 58 runs over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 23rd match of IPL 2025. With this victory, GT reached the top of the points table with four wins, while RR came to seventh place.

Chasing the target of 218, RR struggled to build speed as the GT bowlers put pressure in the entire innings. Despite a 48 -run stand between Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmier, Chase never really flew, which briefly gave RR Hope.

However, the turn point came in the 13th over when GT Pacer Prasad krishnaThose who first went for 12 runs in their first over, were brought back to the attack. Before the over starts, GT bowling coach Ashish Nehra Passed on strategic advice through an option.

The right -handed pacer continued his impressive magic, eventually finishing with 3 figures for 24. His scalps consisted of in-form West Indies batter, who scored 52 off 32 balls, and Jofra Archer.

Earlier in the match, Sai Reformson acted with the bat for GT, scored a fluent 82 in 53 delivery, and well supported by middle order, GT posted a total of 217. In response, RR was excluded for 159, which fell well with the target. GT's all-round attempt with both bat and balls ensured a wide victory at the home ground.

Meanwhile, GT will collide with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 12 April, and RR will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 13 April, which will return to loss today.
