Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) player Abhishek Sharma And Nitish Kumar Reddy visited the Shri Peddama Tall Devanyam Temple in Hyderabad, Telangana on Saturday, 5 April. SRH will face Gujarat Titans (GT) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday, April 6. In an X video that went viral, two all-rounders were praying at the temple and took blessings from Devi before her next match in Hyderabad.
Sunrisers faced Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens on 3 April and lost a huge defeat by losing in the match by a big margin of 80 runs. This marked their third disadvantage 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) Season. KKR gave the SRH batsmen a humble target of 200 runs, but they failed and were excluded for 120. Two players Abhishek (2) and Nitish (19) failed to score big and create an impact.

In the ongoing IPL season, there is a lot of pressure to distribute both Sharma and Reddy, which failed to make a significant impact with the bat. Last season, the left -handed batsman impressed with 484 runs in 16 innings. However, he has managed to score only 33 runs in the current version.
On the other hand, Nitish Kumar Reddy has scored just 81 runs in four innings this season despite scoring 303 runs in 11 innings last year. Dip as him has influenced the ability of the franchise to secure victory in IPL 2025 and climb the points table.
Currently, the SRH is at the bottom of the points table, which is with two points in the four matches played by him and the GT is fourth in the points table with four points. SRH will aim to bounce back from his recent defeat.
