Former Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar praised his maturity and awareness of the game Vaibhav Suryavanshi In the fourth match of IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings.
Chasing a modest target of 128, 15-year-old Vaibhav demolished the Chennai bowlers in the powerplay, reaching 50 off just 15 balls, the third-highest score in the history of the tournament. Bangar appreciated how the talented player outclassed various Chennai bowlers, including New Zealand's Matt Henry, a bowler with a serious reputation in international cricket.
“Vaibhav Suryavanshi was a player of a different class. He dominated a good bowling attack. He took on new-ball bowler Matt Henry, who challenges the top batsmen at the international level. Rajasthan Royals' next match will be against Gujarat Titans on April 4 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
