Anukul Roy Took a brilliant catch at long on to dismiss the well-set Rohit Sharma in the second match of IPL 2026 between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. The MI opener missed a full toss off Vaibhav Arora, which went high. Roy completed the catch with a brilliant dive as he ran backwards from mid-on to dismiss the dangerous Rohit.
Vintage 'Hitman' defeats Kolkata
Rohit SharmaKay Blitz showed he's still got it. It was a vintage 'Hitman' show at the Wankhede as he effectively demolished the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers. Chasing a challenging target of 221, Rohit scored all around the ground, sharing a brilliant 148-run partnership with fellow opener Ryan Rickelton.
Rohit's attack was so impressive that he completed his half-century in just 23 balls, his fastest in the history of the tournament. By the time he was out for 78 off just 38 runs, he had done enough damage to ensure Mumbai's huge win.
