1) Duffy shakes up SRH's top order

New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy made an immediate impact in his first IPL match with a brilliant spell against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He demolished the top order with impressive figures of 3/22 at an economy rate of 5.50 in four overs. Duffy put RCB on top early in the innings by dismissing key batsmen Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy.


2) Ishan's blitz takes the innings forward in Bengaluru

After early setbacks, captain Ishan Kishan played crucial innings to revive SRH's innings. The left-handed batsman played a brilliant inning of 80 runs in 38 balls with the help of eight fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 210.53. He also made a crucial 97-run partnership with Heinrich Klaasen for the fourth wicket, which helped SRH post a competitive score.


3) Padikkal-Kohli's dominance continues

After the early dismissal of Phil Salt, Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli performed brilliantly to chase down the target. The duo added 101 runs in just 45 balls for the second wicket, as the momentum shifted strongly in favor of RCB. Padikkal played an explosive inning of 61 runs in 26 balls, while Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 69 runs in 38 balls to give RCB an easy victory.
