Kolkata Knight Riders After a disappointing season they found themselves going into the auction with the highest amount of money, where they only managed to finish in eighth place. Although they spent big money on players like Cameron Green and Mathisha Pathirana, there are still flaws in their team.
Their plans have been thrown into disarray with Mustafizur Rahman pulling out and Harshit Rana being ruled out of the season due to injury. But despite this, there are some names who may get a chance to play minimum for KKR. Given their potential combination and the current players, their chances of making a mark this season are very slim.
Here are 3 KKR players who could be ruled out for the entire IPL 2026:
3. Anukul Roy (all-rounder)
Anukul Roy Jharkhand had an impressive season as they won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. With 303 runs and 18 wickets in 11 games, he was awarded player-of-the-tournament and became a fine all-rounder, equally capable with bat and ball.
But KKR already have a settled spin-bowling attack with the experienced Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy. Anukul can come in as the third spinner in games where the wicket favors turn, but breaking into the team ahead of the two mystery spinners will be a difficult task for the Jharkhand player.
