Rahul Tawatia chose his all-time IPL XI; Snowbes Chris Gayle, Suryakumar Yadav [Exclusive]


All -round Rahul TawatiyaWhen he made headlines by hitting five sixes in a single over for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has chosen his all -time IPL XI.

In 2020, Tawatia's Veer Dastak helped chase a huge 224-rorn target against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), immediately established him as one of the most influential finishers in the league. Over the years, Tawatia has represented Delhi Capital, Punjab Kings and RR, and is currently an integral part of the Gujarat Titans (GT).

In a special conversation with the Cricketcker, Tewatia was asked to select their all-time IPL XI, and their choice reflected both Star Power and Balance. For the initial slot, he accompanied India's two biggest white ball batsmen, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. While Kohli is the most run-scorer in IPL history, Rohit has brought Mumbai Indians (MI) to five titles. At number 3, Tawatiya 'M. IPL 'Suresh Raina, who has been one of the most consistent and reliable artists in the history of the tournament.

The middle order consisted of Yuvraj Singh and South African Mestro AB de Villiers. Yuvraj's six-touch capacity and 360 degree batting of de Villiers make him dangerous under any circumstances. Tawatia chose MS Dhoni as the sixth batsman, relying on his finishing skills, while Hardik Pandya, another proven match-winner, strengthened the finishing department with Dhoni.

For spin, Tawatia turned to Afghanistan Rashid Khan And West Indian spinner Sunil Narin, while he chose Jasprit Bumrah of India and Sri Lanka's Yorker expert Lasith Malinga for the pace attack.

In particular, he did not include many IPL legends such as Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, David Warner, Suryakumar Yadav and Dwayne Bravo.
