RCB Now unveiled its new funds – RCB care. It is an initiative that has been initiated with the aim of nourishing, strengthening and empowering fan base. Each of the affected families has been promised earlier INR 25 lakh, which is already promised INR 10 lakhs. It will aim to cooperate with the IPL and Karnataka State Cricket Association on crowd control strategies to prevent future events.
The Karnataka state government appointed Justice John Michael D'Kanha Commission for a completely and independent investigation on the tragic incident, where 11 innocents lost their lives on 4 June. It was revealed through a serious investigation that the layout capacity of the site and infrastructure was unfit for hosting events with the crowd.
The tragic incident was also discussed in detail during the monsoon session of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has also seen similar tragedies in India on global grounds. He also claimed that no one in India had taken responsibility or resigned in such cases. This statement inspired many prominent members of the opposition to do a walkout.
