Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) unveiled the six-point manifesto in response to the tragic Bangalore stampede in June. Through RCB care, the franchise's social initiative wing, the team has promised to take six concrete action with the aim of providing long -term and meaningful support to the affected people.
The announcement came soon after RCB increased the financial assistance of 25 lakhs to each of the bereaved families. Along with the new manifesto, the franchise has committed to honor those who lost their lives and ensured that their legacy was carried forward through impressive, on-ground initiative.
RCB Declaration
1. Provide beyond financial assistance
Ensure fast, transparent and human support for fans and families.
2. Create a safe and inclusive environment
Work closely with stadium authorities, sports bodies and league partners to design better crowd management protocols.
3. Empower communities with real opportunities
Social development programs, which have been closed in rural Karnataka, which starts with the Siddi community.
4. Invest in independent research and mob safety
Create a fan-protection audit structure and train our on-ground partners on annual mob management and emergency response.
5. Elite the fan memory in some permanent
A dedicated place in Bengaluru to honor the names, stories and spirit of the most emotional fans of RCB. A living tribute.
6. Build futures through sports
Faith in this team should not remain in the stand. Build in-stadia jobs, nurture local talent, and support the next generation professionals in sports.

The winning ceremony of IPL 2025 for RCB began with joy, but became tragic on 4 June, when M. A stampede near the Chinnaswamy Stadium claimed 11 people and released several injured. The RCB had planned a fan celebration a day after winning its first title against Punjab Kings, which ended 18 years of waiting.
Although the authorities denied permission for an open-top bus parade from the genre deal to the stadium, more than two lakh fans gathered in the area to see their team after RCB's social media announcement. The entry holders in the stadium were banned to pass, many people were forced to wait outside. A temporary slab on a drain near the site fell under crowded pressure, nervous and triggering a deadly stampede.
