In a high-done IPL 2025 qualifier at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mulanpur, Chandigarh, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) demonstrated a clinical performance to destroy Punjab Kings (PBK) and seal their place in the finals. After winning the toss to win and bowling, RCB bowlers exploded through PBKS's batting lineup, limiting them to 101 runs in 14.1 overs. RCB easily chased the target in just 10 overs, winning by eight wickets.
Priyash Arya was never decided after losing Priyash for Punjab Kings 7. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal hit PBKS's innings, hit in Tandam. Dayal was influenced by 4-0-26-2 figures, while Hazelwood's 3/21 provided significant success. Suyash Sharma's 3/17 ensured that PBK never recovered, and despite a brief resistance from Stoinis (26 runs 17) and Azmatullah (12 runs 12), Punjab was excluded for only 101. Any of the top -order batsmen can capitalize, with Captain Shreyas Year only 2 runs.
In response, the initial pair of RCB's Philip Salt and Virat Kohli scored 30 runs before Kohli dismissed for 12.
